Action Hub, a collaboration with FEPTO Training Committee
The Action Hub will serve as a meeting point for psychodrama practitioners and trainers to share their expertise, experiences, and case examples with colleagues working with similar target groups. The format is interactive: one participant introduces a theme or experience, after which all participants contribute their own knowledge, practice, and perspectives. This creates a dynamic exchange of knowledge and practice.

About Memory Reconsolidation and Psychodrama
Why do some emotional patterns persist, even when we understand where they come from? And what makes deeply rooted beliefs and emotional learnings finally shift?
Memory reconsolidation offers a fascinating perspective on how lasting change may occur. According to this theory, change becomes possible when an existing emotional expectation is activated and then met with an experience that differs from what is expected. Such a mismatch experience can create an opportunity for old patterns to be revised and new meanings to emerge.
Psychodrama seems uniquely positioned to create these kinds of experiences. But what actually constitutes a mismatch experience in psychodrama? What role might role reversal, doubling, mirroring, or surplus reality play? And how can the lens of memory reconsolidation deepen our understanding of therapeutic change?
In this session, we will explore these questions together. Through dialogue, shared reflections, and examples from practice, we invite participants to investigate the intersections between memory reconsolidation and psychodrama and to consider what new possibilities this perspective may open for our work.
