Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie- Themenheft “Protagonist*

Call for Articles

We want to invite you to send us a short exposé for our journalissue: “protagonist”, to be published in April 2026.

The Journal “Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie” is a specialised psychodrama journal that includes apeer-reviewprocess and thus ensures a high-quality publication and recognition in the academic and professional community.

In each issue, we welcome at least one English-speaking article. Each issue consists of a set of theme-related articles (theme section) and a set of theme-unrelated articles (open section). Authors interested in writing a theme-related article need to cover a subject matter relevant to the concept of the protagonist in psychodrama. This could, for example, cover the protagonist’s role, the protagonist selection process, the protagonist’s integration into the group after the play, or other relevant aspects. Authors interested in writing an article for the open section can choose their topics.

All articles can be theoretically or empirically based or based on professional experience. The latter could, for example, be a clinical or counselling case study, an intervention of psychodrama inthe field of supervision, coaching, organisational development or the pedagogic field.

We are currently looking for articles to be published in both sections and would welcome your exposés.

The general aims of our Journal are:

  • to contribute to the wide spectrum of psychodrama, sociodrama and sociometry
  • to include up-to-date articles – theoretical, empirical orexperiential
  • to give input and suggestions to psychodrama-practicing readers and academically interested readers.
  • to give readers from other approaches ideas and insights into the field of psychodrama, sociodrama and sociometry

Your Exposé should contain the following information:

¨(working-) title

¨summary(circa 500 words): the summary should contain information on the background of your work, theoretically and methodologically, the target group, results, discussion and conclusion.

¨Name of the author(s), professional background and institutional membership/affiliation.
