Annual Meeting Committee

The committee is an ad hoc committee whose composition varies depending on the work at hand. The chairperson and contact person is Roger Schaller, member of the FEPTO Council.
There are currently four areas of work:
1) The FEPTO Conference and Annual Meeting 2026 in Torino. This work is mainly being done by the local organising committee in Torino, headed by Marco Greco and Maurizio Gasseau. The plan is to extend the conference by half a day and also to hold masterclasses for experienced psychodrama trainers at the conference.
2) At the FEPTO General Assembly 2025 in Cluj, membership fees were increased. One of the arguments for the fee increase was that the additional income would make it possible to offer the conference and the annual meeting at a lower cost, which in turn would benefit the members who participate. A corresponding financing model is currently being developed by the FEPTO Council. We will also replace the actual scholarships by a new model of financial support.
3) Consideration is being given to how Child Psychodrama and Sociodrama could play a more significant role at the FEPTO Conference. The chair of the committee is in contact with colleagues from these fields regarding this issue. In various discussions with members, the desire was also expressed that the Annual Meeting should place greater emphasis on promoting the visibility and international recognition of psychodrama. We will make a proposition in Torino 2026.
4) Following last year’s meeting, a think tank was spontaneously formed to consider questions such as: Who are the members of FEPTO: individual members, training institutes, accrediting organisations, national associations, federations representing several institutes, and what else? How visible are they? Why do some members never attend the annual meeting? Where do we need to make changes? This think tank currently consists of three members: Frank Sielecki, Fred Dorn and Roger Schaller. If you would like to contribute your thoughts and participate, please contact Roger Schaller.
