Training

The aim of Training Committee is to define and describe FEPTO training standards of trainees, practitioners and psychodrama trainers, and to provide recommendations and examples of training programs in different application fields of psychodrama. The Training Committee supports trainers’ professional development, and fosters inspiring professional networking of member institutes, too.

The Training Committee’s task is to monitor the operation of the Training in Psychodrama, for both students and trainers. To be aware of difficulties and developments and to discuss proposals for improvement.

We are happy to share with you that the nucleus of the group, created in Ochrid, can grow further and contribute to the renewal and evolution of Psychodrama-Sociodrama Training of FEPTO members in a more concrete way.

We are working on the following topics:

    • Training for the Trainers and their supervision; the way the trainers start their practice; how they are examined and graded.
    • The way we could incorporate Research more.
    • Monodrama and Psychodrama in a group setting
    • An issue that has been raised again and seems to be of concern to the Institutes is the various specialisations.
    • Training committee ples, sexuality, traumatic experiences, psycho genealogy etc. It seems that both experience and timegive a more synthesized picture of the psychodramatic practice.
    • in previous semesters we dealt with the competencies.

We continue the process so that the Training Committee team can at some point bring to the AM. proposals for discussion and possible vote, to improve the minimal training standards as the experience and efficiency of our Federation’s member Institutes can support higher-level standards. The minimal standards cannot cover the whole or be adapted to the higher point of assessment, but they can give the best possible impetus to Psychodrama Training towards the highest possible point of assessment. Also, a pending action is to collaborate with the FEPTO representative to the EAP, Judith Teszary, to provide a paper on the specific competencies of Psychodrama and Sociodrama.

You are more than welcome to join us:
