Dear colleagues,
For many years, Celia Scanlan has performed an important job for FEPTO as our representative and contact with EAP. FEPTO relied on her good faith and dedication. However, due to her advanced age, she has to step down from this position.
Therefore, the FEPTO Council has opened a special email address for receiving applications related to the EAP and the European Psychodrama Certificate:
Applications will be accepted and reviewed by the representatives of the Membership Committee – Inna Braneva and the Training Committee – Tamara Cavic.
Details about applying for the European Certificate in Psychotherapy can be found below, and on the EAP website:
Step 1: Check if your training is on an ECP level – the training fulfills the criteria stated underneath.
Step 2: Check if there is a National Awarding Organization (NAO) in your country. You can find this information under Info EAP – Addresses
Step 3: Contact your National Awarding Organization or the EAP headoffice. They will inform you in detail about the process of the application. The general procedure is as follows:
The National Awarding Organization checks your application (formally and if you are legally registered as a psychotherapist in your country). It gets into contact with the representative of your modality within the EAP (they have to confirm that your training is levelling or above the EAP standard). If the National Awarding Organization and the representative of your modality give their OK, our Registrar does a final formal check on your application. If he gives his OK and the fee for the European Certificate in Psychotherapy (ECP) has been paid, the headoffice in Vienna will issue the certificate, put you into our Register of ECP holders and forward the Certificate to you (through your National Awarding Organization).”
