Article awarded with FEPTO Student Psychodrama Award in Sigtuna, 2017.

Abstract: Current thesis for graduating as Psychodrama therapist is developed in two directions. On the one hand, describes case studies of four children (two girls and two boys) that have problems with their own aggression. This part is developed on the basis of the aggression transformations of these children as a result of psychotherapy, and more specific of the symboldrama. On the other hand, there is another part describing a research with six children, between 4 and 6 years of age, again in order to explain the way of their aggression. The main aim of the study was to find out whether there will be an effect of the symboldrama (monodrama with children) on children with aggression issues. Scale for pro-social behaviour and emotional development (Koltcheva, 2015) was used, the children were pre-tested and then post-tested with the same scale after 10 therapeutic sessions. The results showed difference in the strategies that children used at the beginning of the study and after this 10 sessions with symboldrama. Aggressive children showed big progress using constructive strategies in conflict situations.
