1. Happy 10th Anniversary Matrix!
Matrix Group will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2016!
Indeed, the Matrix Group is born in 2006 during FEPTO Annual Meeting in Cluj-Napoca.
We shared so many things in last 10 years, and, as psychodramatists, we anchored most of the exchanges in experiencing. We used Moreno’s method to encounter and learn from each other in various ways and for a variety of personal and professional purposes:
- Developing new warm ups
- Being directors, protagonists and auxiliaries
- Processing sessions
- Sharing techniques and our diverse manners of using them
- Learning concepts and discussing them
- Making explicit our different frames of reference
- Learning from each other’s personal styles
- Discovering specific theories used by our colleagues (such as in Turkey this year the “meta-theory of a psycho-socio-spiritual development stages”).
- Addressing group issues
- Evaluating the group states
- Facilitating difficult dialogues
- Looking for options, for solutions
- Handling our personal and group crises
- Making decisions
- Closingmeetings
Throughout these years, we experienced numerous magic moments of relational depths.
Whether it was a time of emotions and/or of rational thinking, or philosophizing … we trusted the group process, we trusted the method and we made our co-learning grow from both our deep caring for each other and our profound respect for everyone’s professionalism… All in all, it has been quite a fruitful loving journey, both professionally and personally.
Last two years, in Cothen (Netherlands) and in Izmir (Turkey), wehave been facing a new reality: our group needed to revisit its history and to find a new position for itself. Years have gone by and our group needs some changes. Which vision do we have about our group’s future? What do we want to let go of? What do we want to maintain? What do we want to develop and create? Matrix is in an exciting transitional period and its members are willing to use their bounce ability during our next meetingin Berlin (2016), in order to make decisions about the desired changes and to find new power for our perspectives.
A co-creative renewallooks likequite a wonderful way to celebrate Matrix 10th anniversary! Isn’t it?
