Requirements

G E N E R A L   R E Q U I R E M E N T S

The applying organizations must have:

  • a legal form of organization according to the laws and customs of their country,
  • a formal structure supported by documents
  • a published list of the persons and/or bodies that are members

The organization must be familiar with and agree with the Code of ethics of FEPTO. As well as the current FEPTO statutes.

 

S P E C I F I C   R E Q U I R E M E N T S

Training Organizations Specific Requirements

  1. If you are an applying Training Organization you must have at least 2 Senior Trainers graduated by a FEPTO Training Organization, by the time of the Application.

Definitions:

Senior Trainer

A Senior Trainer must be graduated from a FEPTO accredited Member or an Organization recognized by the FEPTO, with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience, (with an ongoing contract with the Training Organization or Founders of the Organization). Invited Trainers are not considered Senior Trainers of the Training Organization.

Senior Trainers with ethical disputes dis-according with the FEPTO Code of Ethics are not considered in this role. A Training Organization that is applying with a Senior Trainer with these kinds of disputes cannot apply to FEPTO Membership.

The Senior trainer must be:

  • a certified psychodramatist with profound experience in his/her field of application in Psychodrama/Sociodrama, in charge of the pedagogic and scientific process of the training with deep knowledge of the ethical and legal obligations of Trainers and Trainees;
  • capable of planning a training program, including the supervision of trainees, running tutorials, marketing the course and helping the trainees to develop professional capacities and their integration into pedagogic and scientific activities;
  • a professional specialist in developing and/or delivering a training program in a training organization or another training institution in counselling, psychotherapy, therapy, mental health, training, organization development, coaching, education, social and health or related fields and areas;
  • must have knowledge in developing criteria for the selection of training candidates and procedures for interviewing and selection of appropriate trainees;
  • must know athe FEPTO MTS Minimal Training Standards and the other requirements demanded by this FEPTO like Minimal Training Standards of Trainers.

Trainer

A Trainer must be graduated by a FEPTO accredited Member or an Organization recognized by the FEPTO, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience (with an ongoing contract with the Training Organization or Founders of the Organization). Invited Trainers are not considered Trainers of the Training Organization.

Trainers with ethical disputes dis-according with the FEPTO Code of Ethics are not considered in this role. A Training Organization that is applying with a Trainer with these kinds of disputes cannot apply to FEPTO Membership.

The Trainer must be:

  • Certified Psychodramatist with experience in his/her field of application in Psychodrama/Sociodrama, in charge of the pedagogic process of the training with deep knowledge of the ethical and legal obligations of Trainers and Trainees;
  • a professional specialist in developing and/or delivering a training program in a training organization or another training institution in counselling, psychotherapy, therapy, mental health, training, organization development, coaching, education, social and health or related fields and areas;
  • must know the FEPTO MTS (Minimal Training Standards) and the other requirements demanded by this Federation and the FEPTO MTSt (Minimal Training Standards of Trainers).

Invited Trainer

An Invited Trainer must be graduated by a FEPTO accredited Member or an Organization recognized by FEPTO, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience and fulfil the abilities of the Senior Main Trainer or Trainer.

Invited Trainers with ethical disputes dis-according with the FEPTO Code of Ethics are not considered in this role. A Training Organization that is applying with an Invited Trainer with these kinds of disputes cannot apply to FEPTO Membership.

  1. If you are an applying Training Organization you must have at least 5 accredited Graduates, by the time of the Application.

Definition of Accredited Graduates

Trainees that have completed the whole training program of the Applying Training Organization and can be considered a psychodrama psychotherapist or a psychodrama leader.

Accrediting Organizations Specific Requirements

An Accrediting Organization is an organization usually accrediting the members of more than one Training Organization in the country.

The applying organization must supply

  • List of individual and /or organizational members.
  • Code of Ethics of the organization. If not, agreement to abide by the FEPTO Code of Ethics.

Individual members

  • Individual members may become senior trainers or representatives of FEPTO member institutes for at least ten years, not existing anymore, or former Council members by the recommendation of the Council or personal application.
